CESA Coffee (Coffee Excellence South Africa) is Africa’s first locally built single-serve coffee platform — combining smart machines, real-coffee capsules, and community entrepreneurship under one system called the CESA One-Serve™ Platform.
What makes CESA Coffee different from Nespresso or instant coffee?
CESA uses real filter coffee, not espresso or instant powder. Our CESA Koffie-Cups™ and Ubuntu-Cups™ contain freshly ground coffee inside a patented micro-filter, producing smooth, full-bodied flavour — never burnt or bitter.
Can I use CESA Cups in other coffee machines?
No. CESA Koffie-Cups™ and Ubuntu-Cups™ are designed exclusively for the K1 Infinity™ system to guarantee consistent flavour, pressure, and water flow.
Does the K1 Infinity™ need plumbing?
No. It has a built-in water tank for easy setup anywhere — plug, fill, and brew.
Is the K1 Infinity™ a bean-to-cup machine?
No. It’s smarter and cleaner. It brews pre-portioned pods or sachets using authentic ground coffee or crafted blends — no grinder required.
Can I make cold or iced coffee?
Yes. The K1 Infinity™ supports “Over Ice” mode for chilled drinks. Brew your favourite CESA Koffie-Cups™ and Ubuntu-Cups™ directly over ice.
Is CESA coffee locally produced?
Yes — proudly made and assembled in South Africa with locally roasted beans and sustainable packaging.

What is the CESA One-Serve™ Platform?

It’s an integrated system combining:

How does the Koffie-Cup™ work?
Each cup has a built-in micro-filter containing real ground coffee. When water flows through, it gently steeps and filters — creating authentic filter coffee (not pressure espresso).
What is Ubuntu-Cup™?
A collection of crafted café blends inspired by African flavours such as Hot Chocolate, Milk Tart, Choc Chai Latte and Bar-One™.
How does Cup-a-Ground™ work?
It’s a drip-bag sachet with ground coffee inside a hanging filter. Brew it in your K1 Infinity™ or hang over any cup and pour hot water slowly for pour-over freshness — perfect for travel.
What comes in the Cleaning & Care Kit?
Descaler, flush solution, and cleaning wipes — used monthly to keep your K1 Infinity™ performing like new.
Do you sell coffee beans or ground coffee in bags?

Yes. Whole-bean and ground coffee are available through our partner brand Coffee Excellence, offering the same premium blends used in our pods and sachets.

Using the Machine

How do I start brewing?
  1. Fill the water tank.
  2. Insert a cup.
  3. Choose cup size
  4. Choose hot, strong or  over-ice.
  5. Press Start — your coffee’s ready in seconds.
Can I adjust cup size?
Yes. Use the water-volume selector or preset sizes (5 x sizes).
How do I descale the machine?

Use the CESA Descaler from your Cleaning Kit every 30 days or when prompted.

  1. Mix descaler (1:20ratio) in the tank.
  2. Press and hold Hot Brew + Over Ice for 2 sec to enter mode (indicators flash).
  3. The machine runs in cycles (pump on 10s, off 15s) for 3 cycles, then soaks for 30sec, followed by continuous brewing until empty.
  4. Pause/Resume: Press any flashing button to pause; press again to resume.
  5. Exit Mode: Press Power or hold Hot Brew + Over Ice for 2 sec.
What if my coffee tastes weak or slow to brew?
Check for scale buildup or old pods.
Run a cleaning cycle using only CESA Cleaning Cups.
Does the machine have a warranty?
Yes — 12 months standard warranty covering manufacturing defects.

Orders, Delivery & Payments

Where can I buy CESA Coffee products?
You can order directly on cesa.coffee or through authorised Coffeepreneurs, or via selected retail partners.
How long does delivery take?
Standard 3–5 working days nationwide in South Africa.
Exports and remote regions 5–10 days.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit/debit cards, EFT, PayFast, and mobile wallets.
Do you offer subscriptions or auto-refills?
Yes — choose monthly delivery of cups, cleaning kits, or sachets and save up to 10%. Cancel or modify anytime.
Can I track my order?
Yes — tracking details are sent via email or WhatsApp once shipped.
What is your refund or return policy?
Unopened consumables and unused machines may be returned within 7 days for refund or exchange. Machines under warranty are repaired or replaced free of charge.

Coffeepreneur Program

What is a Coffeepreneur?
A Coffeepreneur is a CESA partner who earns income by sharing and selling CESA Coffee products through their own referral link or QR code.
How do I become a Coffeepreneur?
Sign up on the Join the Revolution page or WhatsApp +27 60 996 9400.
You’ll receive your digital ID, onboarding guide, and access to starter kits.
Do I need to pay to join?
Basic registration is free.
To sell directly, you’ll need a Starter Pack (K1 Infinity machine + cups + marketing kit).
How much can I earn?
Commissions range 10–20 % per sale, plus bonuses for referrals and repeat orders.
Top performers can qualify for distributor or regional roles.
How are commissions paid?
Monthly via EFT or mobile wallet once sales are verified.
What happens if one of my customers becomes a Coffeepreneur?
They create their own profile and start building their own network. You retain credit for initial referral sales up to the transition point.
Can I sell online or to businesses?
Yes — Coffeepreneurs can sell via personal websites, WhatsApp, or B2B introductions (offices, hotels, schools).
Do I get marketing material?
Yes — digital posters, videos, and QR codes are provided, plus optional printed packs.
Is there training or mentorship?
Yes — via online portal and WhatsApp sessions covering product knowledge, sales skills, and business management.

Maintenance & Support

How often should I clean my K1 Infinity™?
Run a cleaning cycle weekly and descale monthly. Use only official CESA Cleaning Kit supplies.
Where can I get spare parts or service?
Request service via the Contact page or authorised technician. Call-out fee R900 + R900/hour (if out of warranty).
What if my machine shows an error light?
Consult your quick-start guide. Commonly: red = needs descaling; flashing = water tank empty; continuous = call service.
Do I have to use CESA pods?
Yes. Using non-CESA pods voids warranty and may damage the brew system.

Are CESA Cups recyclable?
Yes — both cup and filter are recyclable, and CESA is piloting pod-return programs through Coffeepreneurs.
How does CESA support local communities?
